While Rebels declare, bombs burse in the air
Liberty glows in the glare of the flare
America’s freedom, our daily prayer
The rockets red glare gave proof in the night
Our flag was still there, while the bombs ignite
The birth of freedom in dawn’s early light
We stand, we demand, our freedom so grand

With British on the run, now silent the gun
One nation of states, a country begun
America united, our freedom won
And down through the years with all of its fears
Our freedom did mourn in Civil War tears
This nation has grown, its strength appears
We stand, we demand, our freedom so grand

Immigrant nation, tribes from new places
New customs, faces, colors and races
Each embraces, distinct social graces
Together we stand, a nation united
In freedom’s cause, with others invited
Recall the vision our father’s sighted
We stand, we demand, our freedom so grand

May the star spangle banner, ever wave
O’er the land of free, home of the brave
To those that gave, the brave dead in their grave
This moment we pause, to honor, to praise
Let it be known as our flag displays
America’s freedom all of our days
We stand, we demand, our freedom so grand
